James Nicholas brings over 20 years experience and expertise in the accounting and auditing fields to his current position as shareholder of Nicholas & Robison. Mr. Nicholas has worked in both the private and public sectors of the accounting field. Thus he brings a vast knowledge of accounting to the firm and is able to provide a wide variety of services to his clients. He has worked primarily in the audit area specializing in audits of small to medium sized companies in for-profit sectors. He has comprehensive knowledge and experience in HUD and other financial and compliance audits. While in public accounting he has also gained extensive experience in taxation of individuals, S & C corporations, partnerships & LLCs. This has included gaining expertise in corporate consolidations and international taxation. While working in the public accounting sector, he attended California State University and obtained a Masters degree in Taxation. In 1995, Mr. Nicholas established his own public accounting practice of James Nicholas CPA. In 2002, Mr. Nicholas and Mr. Robison established the accounting firm of Nicholas and Robison. Mr. Nicholas is a certified public accountant licensed in California and Nevada.
